Mother Barnes magic mug accompanies our article and podcast on Canada’s 19^th century soothsayer of Plum Hollow, Ontario, to whom visitors would flock from all over North America to have their fortunes told through tea-leaf reading. Not only did Jane Elizabeth Barnes (1800 – 1891) possess remarkable powers to look into the future, she also overcame personal adversity, became highly respected in her community and remains a local legend today. 

This one-of-a-kind cup, designed by HPOC, pays tribute to this remarkable lady and features:
